PIE BAKING CONTEST RULES The First Ever Clarke Automotive Pie Baking Contest is open to amateur bakers.By participating in this event, entrants agree: To abide by the contest rules and decisions of the judges. To allow their pie recipe to be viewed by the public. To allow organizers to publish photographs of them and their pies. Each pie must be made from scratch! No frozen pies, canned filling or premade crusts allowed. We will be taking a total of 20 contestants, 5 entries per week to be judged! The winner of each week will be moved into the finals. The 4 winning contestants will be asked for an entry to the finals, having the top three winners getting a prize! Growing up I can remember watching all these old shows my parents loved like Leave it to Beaver and The Waldens. But those were just TV shows where people looked out for each other and their neighbors. Where people actually cared. They weren’t real life. People like that couldn’t really exist right? I was wrong. They exist at Clarke Automotive. Amazingly enough generations of them do. Clarke Automotive has been around since 1978, but where did they start and who was the heart behind such a family friendly, customer-oriented establishment? Where do all those beliefs about customers needing honest, understandable information for their repair needs come from? After graduating from Florida State with a degree in finance, Bob Clarke wanted a place where he could settle down, raise a family with morals and values, and be part of a community he could contribute to and believe in. Why Clarke Automotive? Why on earth should you choose us over all the other guys? What sets us apart? All very good questions that have been asked multiple times- all with the same answer. We are here for you. We have been for a very long time. Families have gone towards the internet and in their own separate ways for years now. The last few generations have added more and more devices, activities, and simple downtime to their lives.
