This place was wonderful! The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. But most importantly, they are HONEST!! I came to Clark's looking for a second estimate. I had just been to a dealership and told that I needed 4 new break pads, 4 new rotors and a brake fluid wash that would run me $1017! I knew I couldn't afford that so I needed a second opinion. & I found my way here with a little help from Yelp. Once looking over my car, the owner told me that I didn't need ANY of those things right now. In fact, he said my back breaks had thousands of miles left on them and my front breaks will be just fine through the beginning of next year. I was dumbfounded - I went from a $1000 problem to no problem at all! He answered all my questions kindly, patiently and honestly. This establishment is kind of far away from where I live, but I will ALWAYS come back here because they are very reasonably priced and don't try to take advantage of unknowing patrons.

I have been a patron of Clarke's Automotive System for approximately twenty years. Mr Clarke has diligently worked at defending the car owner's right to receive dependable independent [non-dealership] car care at a more reasonable price. He endeavors to keep qualified mechanics on duty in his multi-bay garage to perform that care.

I made an appointment with Clarke Automotive for diagnostic service on a check engine light. Upon arrival I was greeted promptly and professionally. The owner Bob Clarke took the time to listen to my concerns and assured me that my car would be secure since I was dropping it off early and it was staying overnight. I received a call letting me know the exact repairs that my car need and an estimate for the work being performed. The next call was that my car was ready for pick up and when I arrived an employee of Clarke took the time to explain the repairs completed an checked me out in a prompt and courteous manner. The complete experience with Clarke Automotive from start to finish was excellent! I will be bringing both of my cars to Clarke Automotive for service and repairs.
