After paying a high diagnostic fee and getting what I felt was a excessive quote on a major repair from a dealership I decided to research alternative service outlets / costs on the Net. During a two day search one name kept coming up in the form of positive reviews from various sources (Google Search, Yelp, Angie’s List) and that was Clarke Automotive Service. The service there matched the reviews in terms of honesty, reliability and professionalism (All technicians are ASE Certified). On top of that Tom and Matt Clarke personally guided me through the logistics of this major repair in terms of alternative transportation, potential service problems, timelines and costs. Service was performed as stated and needless to say I will have all future service performed at Clarke Automotive; simply the best auto service I’ve found during ten years of living in the Bay Area

As usual I am very impressed with their work. Recently had a starting problem with our truck. Clarke's trouble shooting and repair was quick and correct. They just completed a "once over" on our 2007 Mustang replacing shocks, rod ends and a few other things. The Mustang drives like new, Clarke Automotive is now our "go to" auto repair place. I've been going to Bob Clarke's for years. He's serviced all seven vehicles I've owned while living here in Brandon (30 years' worth!) I've gotten to known the man and his family, and they've treated mine with respect and honesty. You won't go wrong taking your car to Bob -- he'll figure out your problem and give you a honest assessment of your choices. You may be able to get the job done cheaper someplace else, but you won't get the expertise and superior service you'll get from Bob! (Besides -- the other places aren't all THAT much cheaper, anyway...)

I am truly blessed to have stumbled across this man and his shop. He runs his business the way businesses used to be run. He was reliable, honest, empathetic and compassionate. I was told he was good but busy and that it may take 2-3 days to get my car fixed. I settled into the fact that I would have to rent a car for 3 days. Well, Bob got my car back to me in LESS than 12 hrs. He suggested a "physical" for my car in the near future then tried to refer me to someone closer to me for my future repairs. Are you kidding me? I'm not going anywhere else. You are stuck with me Bob. You now have a new loyal customer. I look forward to working with you in the future.
