Brandon Auto Repair

The repair took a little longer than expected, but it was to make sure that everything was working properly. I recommend this shop to everyone I know, especially to my single female friends.

I looked online for the closest mechanic shop that works on. Jeeps Clarks automotive popped up. Called Matt explain my situation said it be no problem bring it in. He had it for the first three days. I had to keep calling him and telling him what I was told at the main dealership what was wrong then he finally turned in that direction. Then he asked for another systems Technical diagram to find out what else is wrong, then he finally orders. The part takes three days to get in which is not his fault then he gets the part put it in says he thinks it’s a defective part granite all this could be true but for me as an outsider and non-mechanically inclined I called ahead dealership in Tampa that handles jeeps they told me it’s only two items that could cause the issue. That’s why I paid my $900 and took the jeep out of there today to take to the dealership . They may be great with basic brakes oil change, alternator simple, mechanic. but seven days into it eight hours a day you should be able to find something rather than another diagnostic test. To follow up on this matter Bob Clarke, the owner of the company did reach out to me several times to figure out what happened where the gap was, etc. he offered me some type of competency and I assured him that I was only going by what your staff and technicians were telling me so to get to the bottom of this my wife bought a gadget/accessory that goes around the key ignition ring Which after we removed it after seven days from Clarks automotive and took it to a small private mechanic shop after Clark’s automotive had it for seven days completed a diagnostic test stated that it needed a ignition module key reprogrammed. Once they purchased a module they could not get the key fob to sync with the module so they were going to need to do more diagnostic testing. Moving forward, taking it to another Mechanic after paying almost $900 to Clarks automotive which I would pay and did pay for the module, the diagnostic and the two hours labor that it would called for that, but I always had to call after calling other technicians, support, lines, etc. they told me and sent me videos that it’s the accessory. Once I took that vehicle to the other mechanic within 2.5 hours he called me and said is the accessory blocks the key fob from reading to the module. but Clarks automotive never thunk or thought out of the box. Plain and simple.

This past Saturday morning is one of the reasons why I use Clark Automotive. My wife and I had the car packed and driving up to Ocala when I was getting into the car I saw a screw in my back tire. I called Matt and asked him if I brought the car in would he be able to fix my flat he said he was pretty busy and booked up but he would do his best to fit us in. 45 minutes later Matt said my tire was fixed and ready for the road. Clark Automotive is the only place to go for your automobile repair there is no other place I go!
