I found Mr and Mrs Clark, and service personnel to be very personable, knowledgable, honest, efficient, and intent on getting my tire fixed for me. Mr Clark explained reasons for tire choice and gave me safety information about my tires. He went out of his way to speedily get me the tire needed for my car, since I had another appointment later that day. I was able to walk to nearby restaurants and shopping areas that he suggested, while waiting for my car. Mr Clark offered to drive me, but it was only 2 to 3 blocks, so I chose exercise. He quickly contacted by phone re: tire issue, and to let me know when the car was ready. I felt the price was very reasonable as well. I certainly would recommend Clark Automotive, and use their service again!

Very professional and quality care I would recommend it to family and friends

I took my '05 Jeep Wrangler TJ into Clarke's on advice from a friend/co-worker. I had a lingering electrical problem with my exterior and interior lighting which I couldn't figure out on my own or through the help of Jeep Wrangler owner online forums. I took my rig into Clarke's in the morning, and by early afternoon had diagnosed the problem. The technician even alerted me to another problem I had with my AC motor; for the past couple years my AC would only go at the full blast setting and I neglected to get it taken care of because I though my entire AC system had to be serviced, which I learned was not the case. I had the problem for so long I had gotten used to it and thus forgot to mention it. I was startled when the total cost of parts and work was considerably lower than I had expected, given the peculiar nature of the problems. The high-grade oil change was the topping on the cake - I'll be bringing in my vehicle, as well as my wife's vehicle into Clarke's from here on out. Outstanding service and a great experience all-around.

I have been a customer of Bob Clarke since 2005. We take all of our cars to him as often as he recommends because we have total trust in his judgement, expertise and honesty. Bob studied automotive engineering in college and has worked at various jobs where he needed to use his knowledge of cars for the benefit of his customers, so he really does know a lot about cars. When he is ordering parts for his customers' cars, he always fights for the best prices he can get and you can hear him do that when he is openly on the phone for all waiting customers to hear. If you request a service you really don't need, he will let you know. If you fail to request something you car does need, he will let you know that too. Even if you just tell him to take care of the car.'s maintenance requirements, he will always contact you regarding anything substantial before he does a major job, just to be sure you want it done. I have never dealt with anyone as honest and knowledgeable about cars as he is in the fifty years I have been dealing with cars. When my car had continuous brake squeaking problems because I was out of town and had to take it somewhere else, he got rid of the squeak after I had taken it to the original shop and another shop with the same name locally. It was such a relief to get rid of the constant squeaking; I was almost ready to buy another car..
